Dropped the ban hammer today. HR calls with the manager and immediate access loss. Laptop won’t boot. Only 8 weeks severance, no garden leave for H1 and an unapologetic CEO. #layoff

Severance package is based on RSUs that would have vested for year end, tenure, and bonuses. They also said US employees get outplacement services for resume review/career counseling and insurance extensions.

Lousy comms. HR was uninformed too. I feel bad for them. I don’t think my team knows. I managed 4 people, and I had no info about this. I hope the junior folk are taken care of. Their careers can get ruined with this shit
Which divisions got hit ? Did it impact the sales and Presales as well or just the usual suspects of marketing and HR . It would be bad if it includes engineering as well.
