Graduated a year ago, considering buying a car: a $10k 2015 Honda Civic or splurging on a $20k 2022 model. Can afford both, but getting mixed advice. Which one should I buy? TC: 82k
If you’re going to keep the car for 5+ years or longer, then go with 2022 one. If you are only looking to keep it for a year or two, go with 2015 one. My suggestion is based on the depreciation and maintenance costs.
OP, this is the advise you're looking for ^^
Could you go into more details about the difference in depreciation and maintenance cost please?
Save your money and you will be able to put it to better use elsewhere.
“Better use” is subjective. Maybe this is their “better use”.
Honda 😂
What would you suggest
He has a white tesla y
Bicycle
I’d have to say 2015 civic. Newer Hondas (2020+) are basically all plastic, and if you just replace the infotainment system for like 300 you can get a lot of nice features like CarPlay. Hondas aren’t the most expensive to maintain and I’ve seen them easily reach 300k+ miles. But if you want a little post graduation treat, by all means get the 2022.
Also with aftermarket systems installed on the old car, maybe the old could have CarPlay and other features
Get a 2015 Honda accord instead. Will hold resale value and give you solid mileage
If you can get 2015 low mileage vehicle, imo that should have good enough safety features you need
How many miles? That's huge here.
Lmfao this is funny
2015 civic Keep it for a year max, save money for a nicer car that you can afford in a year
