I’ve started at Medtronic Diabetes in Northridge as an entry-level Systems Verification Engineer. This is a 2-year contract position. I’m currently in the 6-month mark and hope to get hired as a FTE at the one year mark. Am I getting a fair TC package and what would people recommend to make the best impression in establishing a good reputation. Thanks! TC - 80K #engineer #hardware
You can definitely make more than 80k if that's what you're asking. Tons of new grads in hardware making at least 100k on just the base salary in California. If money is the main concern, switching companies will always give you the biggest payout

As far as a establishing a good rep: be responsible. Do what u say you’re going to do. If it can’t b done, speak up right away and suggest what needs to be done to make it happen. Be easy to work with. Don’t throw people under the bus. Praise in public, provide constructive feedback in private.
