Trying to evaluate an offer and whether to join the LMI team. I know they operate essentially on their own so it's been hard to filter through reviews and whatnot. Would appreciate culture, wlb, and other similar things that are hard to evaluate during interviews. I know of the rto mandate and don't mind it Tc 180k #engineering #software #libertymutual #job #offer #joboffer #libertymutualinvestments #lmi
No but what level and offer did you get? I’ve always been curious on the investment department as an engineer
Senior engineer, total comp ~180k I know the insurance side is likely very different from investment, but what's your experience been? Heard anything else about investment?
On the insurance side I’d say wlb is great! Really flexible especially if I need to run errands during the work day. Culture is okay. Lots of changes going on right now in various departments but the industry itself is changing too. Overall I’d say if your goal is to make more money then look elsewhere. If it’s wlb then LM is a good fit
