I have interviews with FB, google, lyft, snap in a couple of weeks. All are roughly for same level - L 7 in goog, snap, M2 in FB etc. if you have recently interviewed for these roles, can you let me know what kind of coding questions you got. I think I will do ok in system design and leadership part but have not done coding for the past few years. I might be able to tackle simple coding questions but I am not sure what I should expect. Current TC - roughly 600 k (with stock appreciation).
Your level at Amazon and yoe?
L7, 15 YOE, 530 K TC without stock appreciation
How long have you been at Amazon?
I believe l7 at amazon is l6 at google.
I don't think coding questions would be too different from other levels. Just less of them.
Thanks for all the replies. Does anyone know if snap and lyft also have coding rounds for manager roles?
No coding interviews for managers at Lyft. One coding round at Snap
At Facebook, managers are expected to pass coding interviews at a E5 level
Why are you trying to move out of Amzn ?
Can someone give a few examples of M2 questions?
Without stock appreciation what is ur comp then? Fb m2 requires hands-on coding. Leetcode style. Google l7 has less but still some coding
They have M2s coding there? No wonder the product sucks.
In daily job maybe not but in interview yes. Coding is a must
