What’s going on at Boeing?! Can this company survive these continued mistakes on top of the pandemic impacts? https://www.wsj.com/articles/boeing-flags-additional-787-production-problem-11599577936?st=ak1s6k7r99q97jh&reflink=article_copyURL_share
These are certainly issues but if this wasn’t during a pandemic or the 737 Max you wouldn’t even notice these articles at the bottom of Bloomberg. Doesn’t dismiss it as okay, because it’s not and everyone at Boeing knows that.
Seriously? I heard the door was blown away
Doesn’t matter whether at the front page or the bottom of the paper.... these are serious issues that further bring the spotlight on the company’s culture... Shameful!
That’s why I had to leave. Such a shit culture. I spent extra time and some weekends building a tool that saved a part of our business a couple million in over stocked inventory. I thought it might help me get promoted from a level 1 to level 2. I got a $10 gift certificate to Regal Cinemas. Which I am pretty sure was a regift from my senior manager. Also, as a thank you for all of our hard work, my director brought in doughnuts for everyone. The problem was she only bought 2 dozen for a team of 35 people and she made sure that her and her senior managers got to go first. Needless to say me and a few other junior members didn’t get any. She said she would get more next time. There was never a next time. Let me know if you want more stories of how shitty Boeing is.
@Amazon how is it any better in Amazon?
They will be fine Our government will throw more $ to support a company that clearly needs to be restructured My friends work there. Boeing operates like if we were in the 19th century. Very bureaucratic, slow and not flexible
Lolllll all the crap ass manufacturing problems are surfacing 😂
It is very important for the US govt to not let Boeing die. Having a strong company building world class aircrafts (even passenger) keeps us in a position of strength in various ways. We cannot let the French rule this space or let any other non-US company grow into a much larger existence. Boeing doesn't have an option to fail.
Boeing management knows this too, that's why they can make shit products and still get bailed out. Why even try if Papa's got your back?
Expect more fuckups with this attitude. Boeing going bankrupt means management and shareholders get replaced or a more competent competitor buying assets. It doesn’t mean factories disapper into the thin air.
Boeing will be fine. The govt will bail it out.
And a few more people will die around the world?
Too big to fail
Boeing suckkkkkkkss, everybody is just waiting for them to die or be disrupted
I could see the company end up being split by gov if it doesn’t shape up. A judge can order a dissolution and piecemeal divisions out to competitors. I doubt any of their board have the balls to bring up dissolution... I doubt they will get a bailout so close to election. Maybe after but not before.
RIP Boeing. Wish me luck, Blind.
Will this result in more layoffs? I feel like no, since a major round was already done
It will if it affects production speed and delivery.... Also depends on FAA’s decision on how to address the issue! Boeing may be liable for those inspections/repairs and it can mena a lot on such a big fleet.
