Hi everyone, I’m in an interview process with Google for a PgM role in Supply Chain, and I would like to seek information about the levels. I have 5 years of work experience, all relevant and more so a retail giant for the last 2 years. If it makes any difference, I have a relevant Masters degree from a reputed university in the US too. What level should I be expecting? I’m currently at a Sr. Manager level after recent promotion. The recruiter says L5 is for seasoned leaders with 20 years of work ex, and in that way, I feel L3 is very entry level. Are they lowballing me? Please help. (Folks at Google, please pitch in your thoughts on this). Thankyou! #google #supplychain #programmanageratgoogle #hiring
L5 15 yoe tpm at google
No way you will get L5, usually thats closer to 10+ years exp
Either way, you will make good money. Good luck. P.S: L5 PGM = L4 PM

Hi. PgM in Supply Chain, 15+ yoe, L5. Don't know what your master's degree is in, or what you were a Sr manager of (area, org, etc). Having 2 years at a retail giant is a good initial experience, but it won't compare to the scale, complexity, and matrixed teams at Google. Depending how you do in the interviews, and area of expertise , L3-L4 is feasible.
Hi is your 15 yeo in Supply Chain or general work experience? Is it important to know SQL at Google?
No, in fact, this is the first time I'm working in Supply Chain. But, I've been a PgM in tech, primarily in retail, enterprise , and customer service delivery infrastructure. SQL would be helpful but not required. There's plenty of documentation and lessons once you join.
