I'm currently an undergraduate student in Malaysia and have been working at a very small startup as a backend engineer for around two years now. I'll be leaving the company soon and join a computer vision/ML research project for a few months. Somewhere in mid 2023 I will be interning again, and for that I am trying to look for companies with larger scale systems. (At my current job the scale is around 50k unique users, and maybe 2-3k orders a day only, I work a delivery logistics product). However, in Malaysia it's rare to find good engineering companies to work for. There are only a few and not all of them hire software engineer interns in this country. The only available options are MoneyLion, CoinGecko pretty much. Grab doesn't hire software engineering interns it appears. Is there any way to apply for engineering internships abroad? What are some of the companies that hire international interns, or hire interns remotely? #internship #intern #faang #swe
