How bad is it in meta?
Is VMWARE sinking? Are they future proof? How long it can sustain the hybrid cloud?
Vmware is a dead company no reason to work for them these days
Pat Gelsinger jumped ship for the very fact there is nothing much happening out there.
Hybrid cloud never became a thing
future proof. won’t go up much tho
It’s a dead company
Its done and dusted 3 years ago. Nothing they do will attract the market or the clients, be it hybrid or private cloud.
in terms of company sinking (not TC) how will you rank these companies : 1. vmware 2. Arista 3. cisco 4. microsoft
VMware is going to be just fine
Fine and sustainable, but not exploding growth anymore. Cost containment efforts for people are already increasing. More roles are being hit with 'no RSU increase with promotion' policies. Middle management is flattening. Managers with fewer than 5-8 directs aren't being backfilled as they leave, teams are consolidated instead. Least cost regions are required for a number of roles. All normal as a company matures, but less exciting for employees looking for a career with growth and promotion opportunity. A lot of cool transformation work, but that is another year or two tops.
Growth is happening in growth focused area and M&A. Just because your BU is shrinking or flatlining doesn’t mean other BUs are not
Idk how we got to the point that a profitable 63 billion dollar company is dead.
Oracle to buy them and then sink
Oracle can't buy them for sure.
