I want to take my summer roughly 3 months to learn about computer network for the sake of being a more well rounded programmer. I have already graduated and I am working as a software engineer. Can anyone provide me with an online course that teaches it? I tried looking on Coursera, Udacity, and Udemy in which I can’t find which one is good. I want a pretty rigorous course where we may have to utilize C programming. I would take it at my university but it’s not offered summer or fall so I don’t want to wait a whole year. I looked into https://www.coursera.org/specializations/computer-communications? But it was not taught good at all. Is https://www.udemy.com/course/world-of-computer-networking/ a good course? I don’t know if it is too basic again I am looking for one a computer science student would take during there 2 or 3rd year. Here is the course description from my university. Introduction of topics such as network architecture, multiple access control, packet switching, routing and flow control, congestion control and quality-of-service, Internet protocols, and elements of distributed computing. Please provide me with a online course instead of books because I learn better that way and it’s more engaging. Thank you for your help! #engineering #software #swe #networkengineer
