postmates culture
so ... what’s up with postmates ... why are their people so hard to work with? is it the acquisition? is everyone there scared/unhappy? my life was amazing until i was tasked with collaborating with those guys. i think they lie just to waste everyone else’s time. and then they expect you to ignore their lies. i am not sure anyone there told me one true statement while we were working together. i have been lied to more on this project than i have been in the past 20 years working. is uber going to fire all of them? it would make sense...
Postmates suffers from narcissistic leadership. The bulk of the company (when I was there) is either new or planning their departure.
Not everyone at Postmates is negative. Depending on which team you’re working with, you’re gonna come across some super narcissistic/entitled jerks that’ll make you wanna give up.
I love my team.
I work there and I love the people. There's a few annoying folks but that is true everywhere - overall I think its a pretty surprisingly dedicated team
I also like my team.
My team is fantastic, we don’t have any drama and just get shit done while laughing over the occasional meme. When we hit roadblocks, we’re able to collaborate with sister teams through them, never met anyone (in ENG, Finance or Growth) who actively didn’t want to help, find a solution or just be frank about what was in the pipeline or not and that’s pretty consistent over the last 3 years.
U should read their Glassdoor reviews? Had a buddy avoid going there. enginneering team at postmates full of entitled divas
I should have. Craziness. Not sure how there are so many useless & entitled people in my life atm
