Can I use US Dyson hairdryer in India?
Hi blinders, I’m traveling to India next week and wanted to use my Dyson hair dryer in India. I know I need transformer(220v to 110v) but is there any specific configuration I need to buy or do I need to use something else for Dyson to work

I don’t know I brought my Dyson to Ireland and it would not work with just a converter… maybe with an pricier actual voltage transformer converter it would work
It works fine with a converter. It'll work on any 5A plug, no need for the heavy duty 15A plugs also.

Heard if you call up Dyson customer support they’ll replace it for free. In my friend’s case they just gave her an extra one with the right plug.
