Since people still can’t wrap their minds around the fact the Gaza death toll hasn’t changed
Hello, so I’ve decided to leave Goldman in the big D but it will be right around the year mark. Does anyone know what this means in regards to moving bonus and weather id have to pay this back or not? “You are eligible to receive a one-time payment of $______, less applicable deductions (e.g., taxes), payable only after successful completion of your background check. In the event that you do not become employed by the firm for any reason after you receive this payment, you will be required to reimburse to the firm this one-time payment. Please note that if such repayment obligation is satisfied during the same tax year in which the payment was made, you will only need to reimburse the firm for the net amount of the payment. However, if your repayment is made in the following (or a subsequent) tax year, you will need to reimburse the firm for the gross (pre-tax) amount. You agree that the firm may deduct this amount from any monies owed to you by the firm on termination of your employment or otherwise.”
This is anecdotal, but personally I've known people quit under a year and not have to pay the signing bonus back. Take this with a grain of salt though
GS is stingy
I think it depends how you leave but my bet is you will have the pay it back.
Doubt you'd have to pay it back
gs is not a trillion dollar company
Obviously an exaggeration
