Citadel Securities TC Progression?
Have a full-time offer for trading and was wondering if anyone knew the typical salary progression, particularly compared to somewhere like Jane Street/HRT/Optiver. I can't seem to find much info beyond the first year, which is skewed by the signing bonus, and am trying to avoid getting baited. There is no progression. TC is completely performance based and highly discretionary.
Asking typical comp progression for any of the 4 companies you mentioned is meaningless. There's too many factors at play. Given how high your signing is, it's possible your second year won't match your first, but you should pass that level fairly quickly or otherwise you'll probably get fired.

if your performance is bad you get fired before bonus is given if your performance is adequate you'll get 5-10% raise if your performance is great you'll get 20-50% raise we don't have levels here, some people have been here for over 10 years and still have the 'software engineer' title, but they're probably making well over 1m now.
