I'm trying to see if lucid would have any upside this year. They have around 1.1b in cash and another 4-5b in cash equivalents. Sherry said that the company would lose around 800m every quarter. So, they would be bankrupt by the end of 2024 when gravity would hit the road. If they want to stay afloat, they need more funds from PIF, which would further dilute the stock. I'm trying to understand what lucid could possibly do to get out of this situation. Could someone shed some light on it? #lucid #lucidmotors #investments
My prediction in 2022 was that they won’t exist in 5 years (2027). I’m gonna stick by that lol
Will be bought fully by the SAUDIes. Stay away. If you want to consider it as risk asset, allocate some funds into it but remember do not exceed 5% of the full portfolio on risk assets. Not a financial advice.
Amazing car, terrible sales and marketing. I think you oversimplify things and don’t see a full picture. They are not going to go bankrupt in 2024. But it’s quite risky to invest today.
Could you explain where I over simplified things and how they won't be bankrupt by the end of 2024?
Because if you follow the stock at all you would know the car is basically being integrated into the Saudis itself. The shareholders will get destroyed but this company will never go bk
Bankrupcy
Excellent outstanding Car. Great product. Why should that not be enough? Does the balance sheet take care of itself when you have great product
Good luck on that !
This is what everyone said about Tesla!!
Please elaborate. Is it positive sentiment or not
Of course not, they were nowhere near these horrible numbers. Lucid sold 6000 cars in 2023. Tesla did 1.8million in 2023. Infact tesla sold 3k in 2012 and 22k in 2013. Lucid sold 4k in 2022 and 6k in 2023. And you're comparing lucid with Tesla? Are you kidding me? Lucid is losing 700-800 million every quarter and the CEO gifts himself 380million for 2023 after losing every column in the results.
