Its truly heartbreaking, I can’t work. I can’t focus, isn’t there anyone who can convince Israel to stop Raffah invasion
Hi, I have an offer from credit karma, is it a good time to join the company?
There’s a post with a similar question - read up on it..
What would be your position? How was the interview process? I'm also thinking about joining but have heard bad things about it.
The interview experience was pretty decent. Didn’t see any red flags. Also when asked about all the reviews the answer was it’s standard politics, which you find in any company.
Are sexual harassment lawsuits payoffs and layoffs standard now?
Someone said it was like a slave ship, where they make you wear a uniform and perform exercise between tasks. Full contact Agile methodology they call it. They do pay well and you get free fruit I’m told.
WTF?
Hahaha what
Depends, what’s your offer?
Depends on the team, and vertical.
Joining the platforms team.
It's a good team AFAIK. Has some really smart people. Don't work with them directly, so can't say anything about what's going on inside the team.
Stay away from platform team. You can get fired if you do not get along with ex Twitter and Google management.
I work at CK. I am Non-eng but interact with that team. Well respected and has their act together. Seems happy.
So far I am getting mixed reviews about the company.
I think you can get mixed reviews about any company tbh. No company is perfect. Credit Karma has been the best job I’ve had and I love my team/department. The best advice is to go with your gut.
If you’re asking on Blind or looking at Glassdoor you should bear in mind that those reviews are mostly from people who are unhappy and a bunch that have left. The CEO presented some of the results from the anon annual company culture survey and I think 80%+ said they were proud to work at CK and they would recommend to a friend. I like it. It depends on what team you join but the comments on here are often from people who’ve had a bad experience and want to vent.
The only things I’ll say is shady is the sudden 5 star reviews appearing on glassdoor to offset the company from tanking under a 3.0 rating. That’s all management asking people or them posting fake reviews to keep the score up. It’s not all shitty ex employees.
To be fair every company posts fake glassdoor reviews. Glassdoor is inherently negatively biased
You also have people posting fake negative reviews on GD too. It’s a wash. My advice - don’t read that stuff and just go with your gut.
Comp ?
