(Los Angeles) Any referrals or opportunities out there? My wife has 7+ years experience at the director level working in business development. In her last role, she was Director of Development & Corporate Partnerships for a national non-profit (you've definitely heard of them) before they cut 20% of their staff in August. And prior to that, she worked on the development side for 2 other top-ranked national organizations. Her experience is managing $1-2 million annual campaigns through Corporate Partnerships, Sponsorships, Major Gifts, Creating new Revenue Pipelines, Forecasting/Projections, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Board Recruitment. A lot of the higher level “sales” and business development responsibilities you’d expect, just on the non-profit side. For example, she was pursuing a partnership with Bank of America and overseeing a new marketing campaign roll-out just before the 2020 fiscal year ended for her org in July and they had to make some hard and fast cuts across every state, nationwide. Since the layoffs, she’s made it to 3rd round interviews with UCLA and USC for Director of Development roles, only to be ghosted. But she's not necessarily looking to stay on the non-profit or institutional side, so she's open to any opportunities. We are near Century City and not too far from Culver and Santa Monica. Any advice? Thanks in advance! #strategyandaction #consulting #sales #marketing #partnerships #bd
