Got Laid off but don't feel anything
I heard of 600k-1.5M offers for Snap when the price was $13 but also as low as $6. What happened to those that got offers at 25-30? Did they make you own the downside even though people were still getting monster offers at $6?
They did for a few people
Doesn’t it seem dumb to keep offering new people market rate as the stock price plummets rather than keeping proven people motivated by increasing comp as stock price falls?
Isn’t that why so many people left Snap? Because the stock cratered and no refreshes. This is a good plan to join either Lyft and Uber, once those stocks crater it will be good post-IPO, could double or triple your equity value. If you believe in the company.
Good strategy
People who didn't get their millions left already. People who signed up for much less stayed. It's just as simple as that.
Were a lot expecting to be millionaires?
Yes, top people got taken care of. Vast majority joined in the $10-15 price range tho. Top people still got taken care of when price fell to $5. Now it’s back so it actually benefited even more that it fell for some.
Wasn't that the reason why they were offered more to begin with.
