Lockheed Martin vs AWS
LM: 1. Team is applied AI. I think they do real AI project 2. TC: base 170k + 5% bonus 3. Title is Artificial Intelligence Engineer AWS: 1. L5: TC 280K 2. Title is Machine Learning Engineer I think if i go to AWS, i can help client to solve their problem in machine learning.. but not strong to real AI product but they compensate well than LM If i go to LM, i will be exposed to do real AI project i think it will be exciting journey...But less comp In a short term and long term career growth perspective, can you give me some advices? #data #dataanalytics #datascience #Aws

If you are starting out your career, AWS for sure. Having a FAANG company on your resume puts you in a special place. Also, Amazon has many applied AI teams so you can transfer later if the current role doesn’t lead you to professional satisfaction. I’ve seen people transfer in like 4 weeks. Not sure of the current guidance, however, switching teams is not an issue.
Go to AWS. I can tell you for a fact that LM sucks.
