Australian PR on F1 visa
I’m currently working on STEM OPT and have only one H1B try left. I am thinking of other options to immigrate to other countries. If I apply for Australian PR, would it have any effect on my F1 visa? Will I be able to travel easily while my Australian PR application is in process? Thank you #tech #immigration
Don’t be paranoid. Australia immigration doesn’t have any bearing to US immigration. If you had filed for US permanent residency then your concern is valid.
Why do you think it will it have effect on F1?
It might show intent to immigrate while on a non-immigrant visa (F1). Just concerned since the US and Australia do share data with each other
