Would love to hear about your experiences there. How is the culture, leadership, work-life balance?

do they pay more than Amazon on average
I love their app and service. Better than any other RE app for Seattle and their agents are awesome. Helped me find my house.
I know SEVERAL folks over there, they all love the company and always rave about Redferno events. They've expressed positive thoughts on the things you've asked about when I brought it up.
People here are great. Work-life balance is really good on the tech side. Leadership is very visible and accessible. Seem to be pretty transparent about company progress and goals. Overall pretty great.
Zillow is great too!
Zillow does not get all the info Redfin is getting. Redfin is slow and crashes often so I am hoping Zillow has complete data as someone who are shopping around. Is there an issue for getting MLS data like Redfin?
Redfin is a brokerage so they should be automatically receiving all mls data. If they aren't, that's a huge problem. Zillow builds relationships with each MLS
Interviewed with Redfin few years ago - didn't get the job but got a very good impression of the company
Thanks, everyone!
how's the pay at redfin. currently a T6 engineer with 9 years experience making close to 500k including paper money. can they match?
No 😂😂😂
Worked there for many years. Love their product. Decent people work there. The CEO is like a cult leader, people are either willing to lick his balls or they want nothing to do with him. Their diversity is a lie given they can't keep the diverse talent they hire and their interview practices are super biased and inherently racist. They can't retain talent for shit.
I'm curious what makes you say the interview practices are super biased? (just joined so I've only experienced my own interview thus far)
Culture: star up like, everyone sweeps floors, collaborative, very customer focused Work life balance: very good! Lots of vacation time, very flexible schedule, ability to work from home, etc Leadership: Really like our CEO, he is a very compassionate guy.
+1. I'm not based in Seattle, but love the company. I care more about being at a company that I'm passionate about than about the pay, and the pay is enough for me and the kiddo to travel, and I support us as a single momma.
Thanks- very helpful!
