Broadcom Offer Evaluate
offer from Broadcom. Bay area, Staff level (level 4), hardware engineer. base 150k, RSU 420shares(4years, ~235k), cash bonus 25%. YOE 7.5years. Initial offer, and I was told Broadcom didn't negotiate. Is it true? another question, is the total TC lower than Apple level 4 offer? #broadcom #hardware #offer #interview #apple
You can always negotiate. The offer seems OK to me, broadcom has real good refreshers and best Bonus
Seems low for base salary
After some research, I agree the base is a bit low.
Base is always a little lower at Bcom but that can probably be negotiated slightly. The equity awards are the best in the business though

Level 4 should be sr staff. RSU is not really negotiable, set by title. Go for more base.

Yeah, that is what I heard. But I am not familiar with the BU structure, so not quite sure if I heard correctly.
