Curious regarding EM interview process at Snap. Is it primarily system design or does it involve coding and what’s weightage?
EM is probably more fit than technical but you’ll get some of both. Also depends on the office. SF / Seattle / NYC tend to hire more technical managers in my experience. Great time to join btw. Less than 1x downside for multiplier upside. And now it’s probably easier to get in than ever.
I am moving to LA for family reasons and SNAP is of the big names around Venice. If I don’t get s good vibe in interviews, will stay away - thanks for the heads up, appreciate it. Is interview model similar to FB (if you know about it).
How did the interview go? Anyone else has interviewed with Snap for EM?
Can you share your offer?
I would strongly suggest staying at Facebook. Snap is in REALLY bad shape. Horrible user and revenue growth and we have VPs leaving left and right. Our head of design just quit today. Also it's just a shit place to work. Well past its prime.
