Hi, I am currently working as an RF Engineer with the Model Calibration team at NetScout. After 4 years here, I believe it is time to move on and I am looking at FAAG and other major companies working on RF, Wireless and Antenna domain. I am looking for guidance on interview prep material. YoE - 4 TC - 100K #interview #hardware #RF #wireless #antenna #Apple #Facebook #Amazon #Google #Qualcomm #Microsoft #NVIDIA
Know how to design a matching network on a Smith chart. Know how noise figure can be influenced by gain and position in the receiver chain. Be able to draw a block diagram of a typical receiver. Be able to explain concepts like gain, directivity and polarization. There's so many topics within "RF, Wireless and antenna". Best advice is probably to get out there and interview and see what knowledge you're missing.
Can help recommend a good comprehensive book regarding RF system design ? How to be deeper understanding about those design trade offs? How to grow these knowledge if my daily job is not much relevant if I want to work for Apple? Thanks a lot!
