McAfee CASB FireEye
I have been interviewed for McAfee CASB division. They said for now I am being hired for McAfee but end of the year they might split into 2 entities. So starting next year I will be part of FireEye which will take over McAfee distributed arm. I am interviewed for senior architect role and wanted to understand if this will be a good choice. Also, expected CTC, wlb. Yoe: 10+ years Loc : Bangalore
Work life balance is good. During release end it might get a little overwhelming, but the other times is it good. I think that’s everywhere. You can except TC in range 35-40

Restructuring- I am not really sure what details to disclose, so can’t comment on this. TC - most of it is the base pay(frankly, a major chunk -75-85% of the TC) and the rest is annual and quarterly bonus. Stocks - Nope. Not really sure how the scene would be post the restructuring.
Except top most level, no one has any clue about restructuring. So join at your own risk.
How about job security? Any insights on CASB BU?
There is flow of exits from CASB BU, and it is still on. Almost 70 percent of CASB team mostly engineers has been exited in last couple of months, I am not sure why. Don't have much internal info about CASB team.
Any idea if they can offer remote role as cloud software architect?
