Recruiter said he’d get back to me 48 hours after onsite, I reached out at EoD. Now it’s 72 hours and I still haven’t heard anything. Since this is the timeline he proactively set, does his silence mean I’m never hearing from him again? Also, team is expanding/hiring for multiple positions, so unlikely they’re waiting for someone else’s decision before reaching out
Recently gave onsite for docusign. They told me it takes 2 days. But took 3 weeks and then at the end they rejected me. I was emailing them every 3 days to get update. Recruiter told me she was on leave, then she didn’t got feedback yet then she was sick and then after 3 weeks she sent rejection email. In the background they wanted to compare my interviews with others. Like wtf. If you did well then they will put you on hold to compare you with all others. Simple if they found someone little bit better then you they will discard you. Such a bogus process.
Between it being spring break for many this month and the DS process being slow, I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Recruiter should've followed through on the expectation they set, but many things can lead to a day or two delay. I'd follow up again Monday with a phone call. Best of luck!
Why is Spring Break of any relevance? They’re not students.
Because anyone with a school-aged child could be affected throughout the month as different states/cities/districts observe it at various times throughout the month. I'm guessing you don't have kids. Whether you're going on PTO somewhere with family or have the kids(s) at home, it inevitably affects your work.
DocuSign is a shitshow don’t bother joining. 3 mass layoffs within 18 months. everyone who is still there wants out.
Yeah I feel you but it’s same with my team at Microsoft and the WLB is terrible too…
Consider yourself lucky, it's not a place you want to be
They are just slow sometimes…
What team is this for? I wouldn’t bother joining DocuSign were either getting bought, or run into the ground. The C Suite here are amateurs, the company has no direction and basically rebooted the DocuSign Agreement Cloud and rebranded it acting like its brand new. Another tough year ahead for sales and enforcement on underperformance at an all time high.
Posting here would probably reveal me but dm me
It’s possible that they are interviewing other candidates.. and waiting to complete other schedules before choosing the best candidate for the role.
It makes sense but wouldn’t the recruiter know this so not need tell me originally he can respond in 48 hours also he could just update me that they still need more time now? I mean just imo that would be more logical for him but I guess idk 🤡
Great… another Microsoft. I’m surprised you even had to interview and didn’t just get put on some random team
DS recruiters can be absolute tools!
Had this recently and received a standard rejection email afterwards. I hope you have a better luck
Aww sorry to hear that. Can you share how long it took them to send you the standard rejection email?
72 hours. They actually told me that I would hear back within 24 hours. When I didn’t, I reached out the next day. No response that day. The day after I received that standard rejection email.
