Doordash VS Two Sigma
Was fortunate enough to get an offer from both two sigma and Doordash. Comp is around the same for both. So far as I can tell both have roughly the same wlb (Doordash prob being slightly better). Def leaning more toward two sigma over all What would you do and why? Two sig: Base: 180k Bonus: 145k Signing: 30k Total first year: 355k Doordash: Base: 170k Stock: 475/4 Signing: 18k Total first year: 306.75k Current: Base: 220 Stock (paper): around 600k Signing: 20 YOE: Less than 2 #twosigma #doordash

What levels? I think wlb is better at two sigma actually after chatting with teams from both
Doordash WLB is awful, dont join if you care about creating software you can be proud of

Honestly comp and WLB are very good. I just absolutely hate the work and the fact that the company is so spread our. Management is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. They actively make the company worse and do about everything wrong. A lottttt of politics
How was technical phone screener? Have one coming up. Was it leetcode or actual programming

Curious why you think DD wlb is better? What team is it?
Is that two sigma bonus guaranteed every year or how does it work? Also, I heard two sigma WLB is really good while DD can be hectic. Edit: Looking at the Blind score for both company Two Sigma WLB score is even better than Google lol
I’ve heard two sig is good in terms of hedge funds. That being standard 40 hours plus a little over sometimes Bonus is only guaranteed first year but if you get less than that you should prob start looking for other jobs anyway I’ve def heard DD can be hectic too
No bonus (nor equity refresher) is ever guaranteed. That said, if in any year your TC drops you need to leave the company because it's either failing as a whole or is managing you out.
