Thoughts on recent press crackdown in India? Should people who agree with the crackdown be allowed to have visas in the US? TC 200
Luckily, Hindenburg does not have any offices in India. The important question is, why no raids on Adani yet?
Coward Hindenburg don’t even reveal who are funding them for short selling .. while they ask who is owning shell companies..
When will western media get a global outlook? Did you know someone said in the European parliament "We cannot have war in Europe which is like a garden, unlike the jungles outside who are used to wars" And all that gardens built on the exploitation of said jungles.
Did you see the documentary? It's pure propaganda. I am not a modi fan and wanted to see what the hype was, and even I couldn't digest it. It seemed like an attempt to ignite riots.
This is all in line with what Congress (INC) has been saying since 2014… The Indian PM and Home Minister are a threat to India and its identity… feels like we are sliding down into a neo-nazi dictatorship every day…
Okay
Yes, a dictatorship where the dictator gets abused left, right and center, but somehow has still not managed to catch hold of those abusing him. What a crappy dictatorship that has been elected twice with full majority!
BBC has been banned and removed from India twice before. Learn your history before jumping to conclusions.
My conclusion is that a free press is not valued in India
The fact that government can ban a news organization is the problem. Knowing that they banned them twice before doesn’t free them from blame but rather adds to the government’s culpability.
Chodi Ji doing what he does best. Promote division. Guard rich friends. In the end it's us middle and upper middle class against the uber rich. They don't want us to focus on the actual issues by making sure that we are constantly fighting over non sense issues.
Ask BBC to do a similar take on Zelensky and then we can talk of BBC is right or wrong. All western media does is badmouth Russia, China, India and any emerging nations. Ask Western media to look inward. BBC on French neo-colonialism and how Macroon doesn't do enough to end it.
OP need to focus on work... charges against BBC are legal. BBC is also a business let's keep that in mind. When the supreme court of India has cleared matter then there is no need for bbc to create drama.... it's similar to how Chinese or Russians trying to impact US political scene
Supreme Court clearing the case doesn't settle it. Ask the people who suffered. British tourists, who happened to be Muslim, were killed by the mob let loose. The BBC and UK government have every right to question that.
Do you know the cause for riots to begin? Basically the trigger?

They should have done this earlier, why is bbc an British affiliated org meddling in Indian politics given that, Indian agencies have already been through it, both CBI and Supreme Court, when they were under opposition
Dukki: So apt name! BBC is an autonomous organization, independent of the British government. If the documentary is bogus, why block it? When is Adani going to be raided?
It’s just reporting the news
