I'm considering doing paid mock interviews as a side hustle once / if I ever get into FAANG. Both to keep my interview skills sharp and get some extra $$$. Does anyone here do that and if so could you share your experience? Particularly: 1. How much money do you make on average per interview/hour, or per year doing this? 2. What platform do you use? The only one I know of is interviewing.io. Are there others that are better? 3. How do you get started doing this? Obvious first steps seem to be getting into FAANG and conducting interviews there. Anything else? 4. Would your company have a problem if they caught you doing this? Would you get fired? #tech
There are quite a few platforms: meetapro, pramp, prepfully. Make sure you pick one that gives you the most cut.
Not sure about 1-3, but this is usually considered “profiting from your employment at {company}” and against your contract. Whether the company enforces the policy varies a lot.
