I heard today there was a layoff in recruiting. Does anyone know if they are planning to layoff engineers too? Curious since I have a few friends interviewing with them. TC: 🥜
What is ME (mechanical engineer)? What is D shift?
ME is manufacturing engineer. D shift is literally working nights Friday Saturday Sunday
Affected employees were notified on Tuesday. It was mostly recruiting and HR Ops. Employees are still technically employed for 30 days. But all work duties were relieved. Employees still have access to outlook and Teams while they look for new employment internally or externally. I was laid off.
How many people got laid off? There was no announcement
Thanks for sharing. Sorry you were part of the layoff. Hope you can find something soon.

I left almost a year ago and it was only at like 6k-7k employees - did they never stop the hiring spree?
