It seems like compensation packages are okish, but I’m wondering if this is place for growth. TC: 186
In the US or in NL? I’ve worked there for a couple of years in NL. Depending on the area it’s fine. If you work with Web, forget. Nothing is on the cloud and won’t be due to the IP protections with the clients. The fabs where your code runs don’t have internet. That’s why I left (even before joining Meta). I’d get easy off market. Benefits in NL 40 days of PTO (you heard it right) Usually 20% of bonus (it’s a monopoly) Salary is not that high though, if you are very senior you can get 75-80k EUR Culture In NL it’s known as a golden cage, there are a lot people that never worked elsewhere and are there for 20 years+
Also if you buy their stock inside their program after one year you get 20% back
This is very insightful, thank you. A recruiter reached out for a job, this one is in Wilton CT. The job is pretty good, but I think it pays low for what is expected. I would manage a team of 50 people and the top of the range is $215. The recruiter did not know the vesting period for the 70k in RSUs. I am thinking is 70/3 years.
Advantages: relatively stable operations Monopoly on litho tech Disadvantage: low pay Not much career growth Wilton sucks Salary will remain same if you moved from low cost area like Wilton to San Diego/ Bay Area Depending on location, discrimination towards … you guess it right

I love their stock, holding since 2016.
