What is the salary breakup for a #Google Program Manager position in SFO
Program Managers' salaries at Google range from $170K to $383K per year - the average being $272K. Note that this is the total salary (base, bonus and equity), not just base. The average Base Salary is $142K per year, ranging from $104K to $182K. Also, if you are considering joining Google as a Program Manager, you can get a signing bonus as high as $18K. Is this for even non technical PMβs?
Thanks is the above applicable to a non technical Program Manager position as well?
Generally speaking yes, compared to something like 'technical program manager': https://goo.gl/LvSGQP Also, look at the skills:
Ey - no this does not apply to non technical Program Managers. Take it from someone in the industry.
Agreed. 272k tc for non technical? Very few from my experience as well.
this info is coming from approx. 900 people at Google who are on the paysa platform + watching Google make offers in this range as well.
Thanks everyone! @oracle what should be the range in your opinion?
It really comes down to the experience level the team is looking for and what you bring to the table. I'd say a general range is 130 to 200 max.
Total comp, base plus bonus, or just base?
Did you get the interview ?
The above explanation is clear but I don't think it will be applicable to me. Just to be specific, I have 2 years of program management experience, including one year at Google working as a contractor. I'm applying at Google for full time now in the Bay Area for PgM position. Can someone give an estimate?
So what compensation did you get in the end @singap3015
Almost there. Will start negotiations soon :)
Keep us posted OP.
Did you get an offer yet OP? I'm interviewing for a program manager role as well and could benefit from any info you can share on comp.

Thanks. Probably 120-180tc. Depends on interview performance and competing offers.
