I used to be considered a liberal, now I am leaning conservative. What happend?
Total insanity? Layoffs quarterly now through the TDA conversion in 2023. Job levels getting smushed. Bonuses are super opaque. :-/
welcome to the Schwab game of kiss ups, politics and building the perception that you’re indispensable. Perception works, because most managers are way too lazy and hands off to verify anything, as long as their job is safe - given the low morale built up in the last two years of regular lay offs and selective bonuses and hikes. I have survived several years just playing the game. Kiss up works especially well if you are the suburban privileged class ;-) If you’re a minority or immigrant class, good luck to you! You’ll have to kiss up twice as hard and it might help
