HM sounds so dead and monotone in the entire interview, and it is a backfill. I have never been so bored by a person's spirit. Is it a red flag? How's the team morale there? #interviews #design
Lol I think I know who you interviewed with…the entire team was pretty low energy during interviews so that put me off quite a bit.
😂 but why so? And if they are so bored by their job, why stay so long
Interviewed with them back in August. Same exact vibe. It seemed like they were all bored.
Simply put, you bore them, OP.
Had a similar experience earlier last week. Being monotone wasn't my big issue but was being absent in the interview. 1. They never had a look at my work and weren't paying attention to anything I was saying during the call. I could tell because they kept interrupting me every 30 secs to provide context on something I just said a min ago ( Have been interviewing actively, haven't heard of major communication gaps from my end from other places) 2. The interview was very mechanical in the terms of sticking to the clock exactly and not letting the conversation flow naturally. That was a big red flag for me and felt like a user research interview I was conducting 7 years ago when I started out in design.
Hmm, that could be because you didn't articulate it clearly, mine is like I had an access problem with Google share☹️ and they are looking for something very specific, I would appreciate knowing a guideline of everything they look for in advance. Cause it's all about preparation.
OP, your reply made no sense.
