NVDA? AMD? SMCI? Google TPU? Whatever hardwares win the AI race, they will beg TSMC to manufacture for them. Remember, The modern microprocessor is by far the most complex device ever invented or manufactured by mankind. There is no replacement of TSMC in at least 10 years.
Lol sure, Panasonic is the king of the energy industry. Why? Because they manufacture batteries for Tesla. Laughable logic.
Why not ASML?
Hardware doesn't scale as well and doesn't have the same margins. Definitely a critical player but they won't benefit the most.
TSMC fabs are already running at 100% capacity regardless. How can they run faster than 100%?
Raise the price
🤣that’s not how it works.
They are in a cyclical business. It takes years for TSMC to add new capacity. And when it finally comes online, there might not be enough customer demand. The next down cycle will be brutal for them.
Yes, but my argument is as long as there is a hype on NVDA, there should be a higher hype on TSMC
You're godamn right!!
Read an interesting LinkedIn post about tsmc success. Seriously there is no tsmc https://www.linkedin.com/mwlite/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7168140985787510787/
When any useful AI application come out the manufacture or chip providers won’t be the ws darlings anymore
