Traded in my (then) new CRV for an M40i. Started working remote and did not have the same needs i.e. extra hybrid fuel efficiency for 20 miles each way to work 4 days a week. With 10% down, Honda was still $43K OTD financed at 3.9%. Sold after multiple offers & negotiations around $38K. 2020 BMW M40i is gently used, 1 owner clean CARFAX returned end of lease. 40K miles, $38.5K OTD after $1K I negotiated off, through a small town dealership vs major city. Wanted something that balanced “practicality” grabbing groceries & hauling the big pup that could also beat 392 SRTs at the red light. TLDR; Get what you want. Helps if it’s a B58 6 cyl engine with 22/28 MPG, 382 bhp used in new Toyota Supras.
Congrats?
Thanks?
Congrats! B58 is amazing, I love it! You got a great deal. I spent 70k after tax on my m440 but no regrets
Personally I’d never buy a German vehicle that came out of a 3 year lease. Japanese vehicles, sure. Leasing German cars for 3 years, sure.
After 1st “mod” (swapping out kidney grilles to black)
Looks nice. California suburbs?
