Am I racist if I don’t want to marry a Southeast Asian? (Korean here)
I use uber daily to get to and from work. Starting last week when trying to go to the linked in campus it started sending drivers to the wrong address across the street at Nokia. There is no way that me dragging the pin or doing anything else to change this since there is an issue with your service routing the drivers in correctly. The pin is in the middle of the damn LinkedIn campus and it routes drivers down the road. I do the same thing every. Single. Day. I've been doing this for months and all of a sudden it's impossible to get an uber routed correctly. I use the correct address, I put the pin in the middle of the campus where I always do. When I get a driver suddenly it shows they are picking me up at a different address. This morning the address was correct but the drivers gps showed he was supposed to take me way down the street. The destination on his app on his phone was completely different than in my app on my phone. Your support keeps sending me cookie cutter responses. I guess it's time to try Lyft.
Well, for starters customer support is an awful job that pays minimum wage, so they’re probably short staffed and many are probably incompetent. Secondly, they have to deal with entitled peoples first world problems all day, so no surprise you’re getting hit with macros.
Yea pin is useless where I live no matter what I try. Don’t get it. Too bad Lyft is always twice the price when I check.
You have not tried Lyft? That's a really stupid strategy. Lyft is cheaper like sixty percent of the time.
You should try to not be an asshole. Lyft is literally never cheaper to go from my apartment to work, or the reverse.
Yea there must be some kind of per user pricing thing going on. For me Lyft is often nearly double the price for the same service tier. And I check it often. But $40 vs $75 for a round trip, no way I’m paying that premium to use Lyft.
Sorry to hear. We are pushing for "zero defect" this year according to our COO :)
Sounds like the goal has already failed. ☹️ which is sad because Uber is really convenient and cheap for me.
Haha please keep your expectations high, but it's only been week 4 in 2018 😉
Sorry that you're seeing this. But how are you surprised that our support agents aren't intimately familiar with our routing engine and addresses database? What do you even expect them to do in this case? Just message your driver and tell them the address. Eventually the pickup models will be automatically updated.
I type my address into the app but the driver gets sent to a different place. Why would anyone expect this to happen. I shouldn't have to do anything more than that. I am doing exactly as the app asks me to do.
And can you send me the phone number for LinkedIn support? I need help with my profile as sit doesn't seem to have exactly what I need. Thatd be great.
Have you tried typing in your address? GPS is not accurate often times.
Lol. Uber employees getting salty that their app doesn't work. Spend that time typing code, not a salty response to me.
Having frustration with their customer support as well.
