salesforce role - smts tc 1st year 280k ( 162 base + 50 signon + 15% bonus + 170k rsu) tc 2nd year 230k oci role - ic3 tc 1st year 285k (170 base + 20 signon + 375k rsu) tc 2nd year 265k amazon current tc 215k yoe 7 expecting sde 3 in dec 2020 oracle tc is good but looks like downlevel to me ( as per levels.fyi) and also has history of layoff. But i liked the oracle team compared to salesforce.
You have a better chance of promoted to ic4 at oci within that timeframe than sde3 at amazon. Not saying you have to pick oci
Sfdc - one giant Oracle table, oci - many Oracle tables, Amazon - hidden Oracle tables.
