Apple, Earth's most valuable company, has taken legal action against Prepear, a recipe app with... 5 employees. Apple thinks Prepear's green, sideways pear logo could "create confusion" with the world-famous Apple logo. please have some empathy towards startups #apple
That sounds stupid. Is that all there is to it?
Freeeeee marketing for the pear 🍐. If they win more free marketing. If they lose well that's a different story altogether.
Does Apple think they own all fruit logos?
The one on the right looks so ridiculously close to our logo. We were absolutely right to take action.
why did u post the same logo twice i don't understand?
Petty af. Apple always has been. I love their products but hate this part of the culture. I remember when they filed a lawsuit against Samsung way back 2011 for 1 billion $ because Samsung made phones with rounded edges which Apple patented.
this is the best thing that could’ve happened to this startup that we wouldn’t have heard of otherwise, so in a way Apple is doing them a massive favor
Apple is no less than China. One is claiming territories without any base and other is claiming logos.
My name is Crime Master Logo
Kudos to Tim Cook. He has done phenomenal job. First Memoji Then Animoji Then credit card Then Memoji with mask 😷 Then this.. 👏
If respect was traded on nasdaq, Apple would continually plunge to record lows. What a horrible toxic company it has become, Jesus!
They should just change their logo to have two sideways pears. 🍐 and make every recipe for two
