Modi is a curse on India and will bankrupt the country
Hey Guys, Just to warn everyone out there. Please dont interview with SkyKick. Had a pretty bad interview experience. The recruiter behaves as if they are from Amazon and would send you take home assessment which is pretty simple. Once I submitted it, interviewer ask for availability for next round. Then I ask the recruiter to setup a basic call to figure out what is the compensation range and all. They give peanuts, especially being based in Seattle. And they dont even have a courtesy to share feedback on home assignment which took 2 hrs minimum because you have to write the test cases and all. I completed the code with all the test cases covered, everything working fine. I am not saying my solution would be perfect or best, it passed all the inputs/outputs they expected with best complexity. Atleast they can provide feedback manually rather than automated system especially when the person is spending so much time on take home test and talking to BS recruiters. The recruiter was so mean, you keep on following they would not reply. Their representation of the company is BS. Please go only if you dont have any other offers.
So what's your complaint exactly? You spent 2hrs on homework and didn't like the compensation offered?
one is that, and the way recruiter is responding. To me it shows how the company cares for future employees.
Well, can't win them all, man. Wouldn't you say 2hrs is a good investment of your time, when you consider that one of the possible outcomes is a dream job? Think of it that way.
If a company is questionable I ask for the compensation range in the first call. Saves everyone from wasting time.
Yes I try to do that. But saw some good reviews on glassdoor overall so was thinking it might be good and would not be paying peanuts.
What did they offer you?
What role did you apply for?
atleast a good response from Recruiter especially when you spent so much time on their problem?
