Hello everyone, I am looking for some life advice here. I currently am getting a used audi a3 that i like. car has only 1400 miles on it , 2018 CPO with the audi dealership. 26k out the door price. do you think its worth it ? car gurus calls it a good deal not a great one and autotrader call it a great one. do you recommend settling for a honda/toyota instead. if yes then why so ? kind of confused if its worth the investment
Be cautious with Audi/WV, as soon as warranty runs out all sensors will go loose, I spent on average $1000 per month on repairs. But before that time comes, yeah, it is a good deal.
Yeah warranty wise I am covered till 4 years so that’s decent , was more confused if it’s a good deal or not , as the dealership told me the new one should be around 39-40k our the door
It is a good deal, it is very nice ride, the catch is to change car before warranty is out. Don’t plan on squeezing lots of value out of it after 4 years.
Never buy a used Audi
1400 miles on it , it’s almost new with a certified extra one year warranty from dealer , still you think so ?
It’s a decent deal. You can go for it. While you’re at it, ask the dealers to add a 1 or 2 year maintenance package for free. This covers basic maintenance like oil and fluids replacement. But, If I were you, I’d pick an A4 over A3
Yeah I can try but they’re saying they are loosing money on this one as I am not financing with them either , so don’t know if that will work out but thanks for the advice
That’s dealers’ favorite line to say. Why would they sell it at that price if they’re losing money lol.
Buy a Tesla instead and it does not depreciate, saves money every month
You mean money on gas ? I heard insurance is expensive, how does it save every month ?
I'd suggest the same. Get the Tesla Model 3.
German cars are garbage if you're looking for reliability.
Audi is just a dressed up VW. Premium's not worth it. You can get a new Kia-Hyundai EV or plug in for that much.
Not to distract you but - think of car brands as verticals and segments as horizontals. No car brand will ever have its cars at the top across all segements(compact, sub compact, full size, crossover, suv, truck..etc). So some brands shine in some segments and the others in other segments. In this case, the segment is luxury compact sedan - the king is Bmw 3 series hands down. Come luxury mid size sedan and the king is Audi A6 - no question. I would pick my choices this way. MHO.
Audi A3 is a great car if it is the 2.0T version. Get it
Get a Tesla model 3. Cost of ownership will be lower than an A3 and you will look 😎 in it.
It depends. Can you tell me why an A3 would make you happier than an Accord/whatever?
I don’t know if it will in the longer run. But for now it feels like a car I can’t own back in my home country , the driving experience and definitely the brand. Won’t lie about the materialistic pleasure associated with it
Please go with it. Life is short, be happy
