Good review in glassdoor but saw lots of negative posts in blind. Is C3 a good one to join in 2022? How is it? #C3
No flexibility on wfh . Hard pass
We are now hybrid, 1 day WFH per week
1 day wfh is a joke post pandemic
Overall I recommend if the TC is good. I've mostly loved it. While I'd rather have the flexibility of full remote, we do get 1 day per week and the ability to work from another city's office 2 weeks per quarter is huge for letting me "vacation" and stay fresh by staying with friends in Chicago/NYC/etc I've had ownership and exposure in such a wide breadth of tasks and had incredibly interesting work with on)y occasionally boring work. I've done some interviews here and there and behavioral & system design I have consistently crushed without prep thanks to my experiences here. The work is overall stimulating, my boss rocks, my coworkers rock, and my only real complaint is the stock tank has cratered my TC. Should be adjusted in the next three months or I'm out but almost solely for financial reasons. I believe new hires are already adjusted so they're currently doing better than the vets on comp until adjustments. If you're immigrant our immigration benefits are hard to beat. If you're American, the federal work I've seen in demos is very interesting and that team is all happy campers. They seem to be the golden group of happy smart people Switching projects/teams while keeping your manager is easy if you are bored on a project. It is normal to work on a dozen projects during your tenure as people move where work is needed
Thanks yeah, sounds good tho, anyway how’s the wlb?
Pretty OK. Average 43-44h for a few years straight. Management works hard as hell but we are fair. 1 day WFH if it matters gets some time back. Smart people move nearby their office to lower commute which is easy in every city except the bay area.
Stay away.
Left after 4 months. CEO is a wild anti vax conspiracist and the company makes terrible products so the stock is going nowhere
Yet he is Gavin Newsomes father in law lol
They are cousins. Lol
They push you to write a review on Glassdoor the first week you join, that's how they get high in GD rate. legitimately no fraud, just trick the system. Engineers are good, some very good. If you just graduated, you can learn a lot. but the company has a hard time keeping senior engineers, too many left recently. Product doesn't seem to last, just passive maintenance, anything new is so slow to move. The CEO is a toxic person, he is all for himself.
Don't do it
I'm exaggerating. It's probably ok
