My wife was ordering this Virtusa brand but it was very expensive like around 120$ for both. But its one seving gives 25g in protein. Any other brand which you recommend? Tc : 145k Yoe: 6
Protein is (mostly) protein and creatine is creatine. Get the cheapest one that you think tastes the best, you will not see a difference in gains from spending 120 bucks on protein. I use bulk supplements creatine and BSN whey but I just like the flavors and have no brand loyalty
Pro-30g (150cal 30g protein) BPN for creatine

I just buy chicken drum stick ($1.99 -3 /lb) sous vide them in giant batch of 50lb. Then freeze dry then grind them into powder. 100 bucks and 1 after noon of cooking supply enough protein for several months

Optimum nutrition has never let me down
Just eat real food. Protein powder can cause gout by increasing your urea in your blood test. Not worth it. I feel much better just eating high quality red meat and eggs.
Red meat causes gout too
Most of it is good stuff right now. You’re wasting your money if you spend more than $40. I just get whatever Costco is selling. Pure whey isolate or organic pea protein is my usual. Creatine is cheap. No need to go fancy. And 25g per serving is fine. I have one before workouts, and one after workout. Better to have 25g multiple times per day. You don’t benefit more by having more all at once. You want a continuous source of this macronutrient throughout the day because your body only uses what is available at the time and you poo the rest out.
