Did anyone find the Avalara interview process very irritating?. Why the heck don't they test candidates hands on programming and problem solving. I had 2 back to back interviews for 2 hours continuously they asked theory questions about oops and deep internal working of databases like Mongodb clusters AWS bla bla. They had me write 10 SQL queries. Why are the interviewers not open they wanted me to code particularly only in one language even though the role doesn't specify it. Interviewer knows only that particular language. Theory based questions can be learnt gradually . I have 6 months of experience I was overwhelmed and wanted to stop answering the questions through the interview They want a candidate who is open to learning any language but the interviewer knows only one programming language and he wants me to code in that.Is it justified? Did anyone face this issue?
Did you get the offer, op ? Can you please list all the questions asked and let me know the interview process. Thanks
Yes had a similar experience. Grilled me for 1hr 30 minutes on theory questions. Related to authentication, react internal working, security, etc.
Hey, Did you get the offer ? Also, can you please let me know the questions they asked in 90 min round. My friend is in an interview loop with them. So, I'm asking you. Thanks
