Citadel ultra hard technical rounds?
Applying for internship roles (Bachelor degree level) and just completed a Citadel OA. The questions were 2-D dynamic programming, one LC hard-medium and one LC hard. By far the most difficult of all the OAs I've done so far. Is this typical of Citadel? Or did I just get bad luck?
What were the exact questions ? Difficulty is subjective. Also, depends on whether LC hard is a standard problem or not.
Don't wanna give exact questions, but it involved DP on a 2d matrix, similar to an LC hard problem in Neetcode's list but not quite the same. I haven't been asked any LC hards for an internship OA until now lol including for FAANG but by some of the comments here perhaps it's common
Don’t they pay like 500k for new grad? You make it sound like 2D DP is supposed to be extremely hard. I’ve seen peanut factories ask harder questions.
Well, dp is widely considered to be one of the harder ALGS/DS topics, and generally isn't covered in University curriculum.
