Got offer from OCI (Senior developer) and Arcessium (team lead) YOE: 7 years Arcessium: What is the salary range possible at Arcessium for tech lead and WLB, tech stack and growth opportunities? They said they are not offering stocks now, only fixed and variable pay, can I ask for more base comp since stocks aren’t included anymore? TC: 40 LPA OCI: Offer confirmed, yet to receive TC details What is the possible range including stocks? WLB and growth? OCI if you like working in distributed systems. A few of my friends from Microsoft and Amazon joined OCI so I’m assuming there’s a better engineering culture there as opposed to a tech spinoff of a bank.
What's the breakup for Arcesium? A friend of mine with a little more than 2 YOE got an offer of about 40 LPA from OCI. I don't remember the exact breakup but it was probably 26L base + 10L stocks for first year + some bonus component.
Yes Op you can definitely aak for more base component. You will have excellent raise here in terms of base adjustment every year. At your level it will be on an average at least around 15 percent. Plus if you can prove your qorth you will also be granted an additional guaranteed bonus components which is similar too stocks in vesting except it is all cash.

yes you would get a chance to work on distributed systems but it is very team dependent. Work life balance is good for the most parts. They do give these guaranteed cash components but to whom they choose to give i do not knowm some of my friends have gotten it on hire and some have gotten it in the next appraisal! You can probably see and push back with the OCI offer and see what they come up with. Most likely it will be a base heavy offer
