Anyone familiar with this co? Curious about the tech stack, culture, executive leadership styles, wlb, comp, whatever you can tell me. YoE 15 TC $150k Cad
They have been acquired by Salesforce.
No, uncommon purpose is the spin out of traction on demands software businesses and was not acquired by salesforce. So stuff like traction complete, rec, and guest. Sorry op i have no insights on their internal structure but I do know they are probably smaller in scope than you would expect from the outside.
I worked with their teams often when it was a part of ToD. The culture is pretty awesome with good wlb. Comp is not too great though but I don’t know how things are now comp wise after the SF acquisition of ToD and Uncommon Purpose being spun out as a separate company. I’m not overly technical so I can’t go into details around tech stack but they do build their products mostly on top of SF so I expect it to be mostly Apex, visualforce, lightning etc.
Thanks for the info. Looks like I didn’t make it to the final round for interviews, but the vibe was really good during round one. I liked this place but oh well, ended up with a couple offers for remote contracts in the US instead.
Remote contract in US? Are you incorporated?
Hi guys, any idea about the QA salary in uncommon purpose. I couldn’t find it in Glassdoor.
Any idea about their TC? I'm 15YOE and 140k CAD as backend dev.....want a bump higher TC bump...
When I was interviewing I was merely looking for any reasonable exit from my co. so I asked for base $120 and they didn’t batt an eye. I’d bet you can go higher.
