What does this list of companies represent? Companies with layoffs?

Two Sigma CvDwyKECTW Jan 24, 2020

The way the OP uses caps lock makes me think he's 70 years old.

Jet numerodos OP Jan 24, 2020

Add PayPal to that list. They lay off the 10% "bottom performers" every year. And Amazon annually PIPs the lowest performing 6-10% of SWE's in each department. I didn't know about the others. Thanks for the list.

Argo AI Arrrrgo Jan 24, 2020

Add zoox- they have 4 more months of runway.

Roku breakdanc Jan 24, 2020

I just saw another post where they were hiring and pay really well. Lol

Roku Wu Zetian Jan 24, 2020

What do u mean by really well?

Indeed rainwater Jan 24, 2020

I nominate Doordash, Postmates, Lyft, Rubrik, Skip Scooters, and Snap. Indeed will have to layoff too but my guess is not this year. Purely personal speculation, once job market slows down job boards will have significantly reduced revenue. Insight not gained from any internal buzz.

Hulu rand1n Jan 24, 2020

Why Snap ? They are doing fairly well

Ubisoft yLcC27 Jan 24, 2020

Would you consider gaming industry part of "tech" ?

Jet numerodos OP Jan 24, 2020

YES

Bank of America RLPK44 Jan 24, 2020

Sutter Health justme10 Jan 24, 2020

Any new additions to the list?
