Lots of dumb investors out there buying into the amazon model https://www.cnbc.com/2019/08/14/wework-ipo-filing-sells-a-romantic-vision-alongside-losses.html
road to riches
also, i’ll leave this here.
You're not inclusive enough
This isn’t the Amazon model. Amazon makes a profit.
This. Anyone saying wework, Uber or Lyft is the Amazon model really doesn't understand what the Amazon model is
WeWork is a Ponzi scheme masquerading as a tech company. Shady as hell. Just go through the S-1 and search for “Adam” and you’ll get my point. If there is indeed a recession, it’s gonna hit them so hard that they will turn to dust within months. Uber and Lyft have a genuine product and aren’t as shady, but they are bogged down by unrealistic expectations (self driving technology) and insane valuations.
what’s goldman sachs pay like? base + cash bonus, no RSU?
My last company just did a share buyback, so illiquid no more!
