What’s the point of playing sports if you’re not gonna compete in the Olympics?
Am I alone in feeling like Lyft is to Uber what Pepsi is to Coke? If you feel different, you're free to argue back Lyft employees. ;)
Anyone can make an app like Uber or Lyft. The value is in the network of drivers and customers. However there is a large overlap in both cases...
Kinda like Google vs Bing? Or is Bing more like coke vs store brand cola
well Lyft is good and Uber is evil..
I use Lyft all the time, so I guess that makes me a Pepsi kind of guy. btw Coke marketing is good, Uber sucks
I really can't tell the difference between the two, but at night it's easier to see the pink glowy mustache.
I use Lyft and try to avoid Uber.
It's like using yahoo instead of Google. Twitter instead of Facebook. ... You're just a 2nd best kinda guy huh?
Any jackass that wants to try driving will sign up with Uber. Drivers that take it serious will sign up for both. That leaves me with a much better chance of having a driver that isn't an idiot. I've definitely had a better experience with Lyft drivers.
This is over simplified. Yes as a consumer in a big city downtown you'll get a ride either way. But the coverage and network effect will give a lot more availability for uber. Shorter ETA. Uber customer support is better and faster. Also when incentive money dries up, you'll see Lyft costs more since it is optimized for the driver over the rider.
I guess it depends on what aspects you are comparing....marketshare or taste?
